Today, I bleached my hair. Not only did it fry, it also has a very noticeable green tint and because of the damage, I can't dye it again for a while. Now I keep getting asked "Why so serious?" by my friends. FML

Today, I tried dyeing my hair at home to save some money. I carefully followed the instructions but when I rinsed it off, my hair turned a shocking shade of shiity neon green. Not wanting to leave the house looking like a radioactive toad, I wore a hat and hoped nobody would notice. FML

Today, I colored my hair. It was supposed to turn out blonde, but it became more a mix of red and brown and blonde patches. When I tried coloring everything back, a green tint was added. My hair is at the moment red, brown, blonde and green. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I dyed our hair. His hair came out good. My hair, on the other hand, came out splotchy, and instead of dark blue, it came out green. FML

Today, I let my friend bleach my hair, which resulted in it falling out in clumps. I spent $150 at the beauty salon fixing it and cutting most of it off. I sent the pictures of my new hair to my friends, and I got the same reply from each and every one of them: "That better be a wig." FML

Today, I decided to change my hair color. After waiting in anticipation, I took a shower to rinse out the dye and reveal my new, blue hair. Rinsing revealed not only blue hair, but blue skin caused by the watered dye running over my body. I now look like a smurf, and it's not coming out. FML

uhh you do know that you should never use bleach at home, right? also, semi permanent colors are GOOD for your hair, so whoever said that you can't color it is an idiot. go to a hair supplier and buy PROFESSIONAL semi permanent color with 1.5% developer so you can tone it. DO NOT get something with an ash/green/blue base tho, and watch the color, rather than leaving it on for the full time, cuz bleached hair is more porous so it'll absorb the color faster. easy fixed.

Op- hairstylist here. It's not a salon-approved method but olive oil is good hair rejuvenater.. get a good quality conditioner and see if u can go to a salon and get toner applied. Semi-permanant Toners are less damaaging to hair.
