Except for a few sagacious and understanding people here, I'm surprised to see how benighted some folks are. Saying "I'm gonna assume you're dark because you're Indian" is like saying "I'm gonna assume you're fat because you're American." No we aren't all dark, some of us have extremely light skin tone and brown hair. Secondly, some of the airheads here can't seem to accept the fact that all women have body hair and a peach fuzz above your lips isn't a big deal. How would you have felt if we shamed you for having a hairy stomach or a hairy back and asked you to wax them regularly? If you can't accept us women as we are, don't expect us to accept you in your natural form as well.

There's a thing called a razor...specifically for these types of situations...there's also a thing called Nair...and waxing...out of all of these things...why would you...bleach it
There are creams specialized to remove upper lip hair. Mine's from Olay. It works pretty well and I have very sensitive skin.

Whether male or female, body hair is normal. How you choose to maintain it is up to you, therefore it is absolutely none of that guy's business, and his comment was completely out of line. Choose whatever makes you the most comfortable. If it's bleaching, great! If it's shaving, waxing, or doing absolutely nothing to it, that's great too. Your body belongs to no one but yourself, and comments from others should have no bearing on how you view yourself (though I know that's hard, and I struggle with it myself).
Why even bother with bleach? It's not like it makes it disappear. Shave or wax that thing off. You need to get rid of it not disguise it. YDI.

Do not shave it! It will get quite prickly and irritated and you'll have to do it everyday. Use wax if anything.

Shave it.
Shave it every day or so, or wax it. You can also try Nair, but then you might end up with irritated looking skin. Laser treatment also works, but can be expensive. Up to you how you want to handle it.
