I would cancel that phone. Screw that man, you just got shafted. That was like When I bought my girlfriend a ferret, then she dumped me... Not 3 hours later, but generally the same idea.

If the contract is in your name, take the phone back. If she won't give it to you, declare it stolen. Say you let her borrow it, but not keep it. If it's in your name, she'll have to. But, if you have the option to cancel the contract, do that first.
