Today, I bought one of my favorite albums from when I was growing up. When I looked at the liner notes, I learned that my favorite song on the album wasn't about taking a bath, but about going to a brothel. My second-favorite isn't about moving, but about suicide. My childhood just shattered. FML

Today, while taking a shower, I was enthusiastically singing one of my favorite songs. When I got out, I noticed a bunch of things missing, and a note on my desk saying "shut the f*ck up, you suck." I was robbed and judged by a thief. FML

Today, I was getting ready, when I heard my dad in the shower. He was singing along to the song "The Wheel in the Sky" by Journey, except he'd changed the lyrics and was singing, "The dick on this guy needs a rubbin'." It turns out my mom was in the shower with him. FML

Kind of reminds me of when I was young and was shouting out the lyrics to "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin in the kitchen with my mom. Nothing like screaming "I'm gonna give you every inch of my love" out loud in front of your mom.

Hope you never go back an reanalyze any of those "Grimm" fairytales your parents read to you as a child. I still have horrid memories about little red riding hood, the woodsman, and the wolf. And don't get me started with Goldilocks and the 3 bears.

Ren & Stimpy was one of my favorite shows when I was little. I got older and watched some and now I wonder why my mom let me watch that lol. Wow. That's what happens when you get older and lose that childhood innocence.
