There isn't a shortage of children to adopt. In fact, there's way too much. The reason it's so hard for people to adopt in the first place is because of how long and ****** up the process is. >_> It also really doesn't help that most parents want babies and not toddlers/children/preteens. My two brothers were taken away by CPS when I was a baby (they didn't take me due to my biological father still being there.) and it took years for them to be adopted because they were already 5 and 8 years old at the time. What about people who have medical conditions that might present complications if they were to become pregnant. As with you, the topic is too personal to let go. I suffer from a medical condition where getting pregnant/any hormonal change could increase complications for myself. I cannot go on the pill or any hormonal medication and as with any other form of birth control other than abstinence, nothing is 100% accurate. I do practice safe sex, but in the event I did become pregnant, should I risk my life and the life of the fetus? It worked out for you to have your child, but not everyone has the same life circumstances that you have and you have/had and vice versa. It is very apparent you do not like to be judge for having a child when you did, do not judge others for their choice to terminate a pregnancy.

Personal Choice to engage in sexual acts. The first scenario involving rape and medical complications that is not a choice that the woman has therefore she should be granted the choice whether to keep the child or not (especially with Rape). And the reason I say this is because The woman did not have a choice in the matter when it came to having sex in the first place, therefore she should still have a choice. As for the Second scenario you were talking about; meaning that you willingly engaged in sexual acts that was your choice, and you should not be given another choice reguarding the life that you have created by your choice. In this scenario you have the CHOICE to keep your legs closed or not. You do not deserve the choice to end the life of another being at this point. Now I know that a lot of people are going to have a lot of negative comments about this because it is to the point and I apoligize if I have offended anyone, but honestly it is the ignorance of today's society that tries to come up with excuse after excuse to justify how someone "feels" and justify their actions based on their "feelings", it is completely ridiculous to think that one person should have the option to end the life of another just because they do not want the responsibility.
