Salt, hot water, fire... There are other solutions which are relatively straightforward to remove this problem.
when u smell it, then u can remove it. now consider ur yard as a museum.
Not possibly true, skunks wouldn't have been out in that weather. They are smart enough to stay in their dens in that type of weather and though they do not hibernate, they do have enough flub to get them through a few days or even weeks of ice and snow. So, OP, before making up stupid stuff to get posted, check your facts!
how long till this gets moderated? anyone? :D
So if they don't hibernate I assume they filter feed in their dens all winter long? I'm pretty sure SOME out of hundreds and thousands of skunks in the world EVENTUALLY come out in even those harsh conditions to get food. It's either face a chill, or starve to death. This skunk wasn't lucky. Even if it isn't true, it's still funny :D
Now we all know what happened to the "Flaming skunk" that came running through someones front yard. (Anyone here been reading FML long enough to know what I am talking about?)

RIP Pepe Le Pew. ):
Have you considered taking action to melt or break the ice yourself? Seriously, this is not a difficult problem to solve, so you deserve it for every minute it remains out there.
