I had a similar experience. My ex threatened to kill himself if I left him even though I agreed to still be friends with him and I'm pretty sure what your girlfriend is saying, (ex girlfriend now I hope) is abusive and manipulative behavior.

Seriously, I can't stand when people pull this kind of shit. It's so low and despicable. If this ever happens to me I'm contacting the authorities right away and having that bitch go to an involuntary 72 hour hold in the psych ward.
