Today, I check my phone regularly for calls or texts from her. I take her out to eat frequently, and we sleep in the same bed sometimes. Today I realized the closest thing I have to a boyfriend is my grandma. FML

Today, my grandma wasn't feeling well, so I went to her house to check on her. After about 20 minutes, I knew she was feeling better when she looked at me and said, "So, do you have a boyfriend yet? I pray every night that I get to live long enough to see you with a boyfriend." FML

I'd give anything to have my grandma back. My grandparents on my dad's side both passed before i was 5, and the only one i had was across the country. She unfortunately died 6 years ago. I have my grandpa now but again because he's so far away its hard to see him. Treasure the people in your family because once their gone that's it.

I thinks that's amazing. I wish I could've spent more time with my grandparents. Consider yourself lucky while she's still here. You can get a guy when the time is right, but the time is always right to spend time with family
