Most people confess their love to a guy after they've been with then for quite a while. A couple months of just flirting is much too fast, don't you think, OP?

A poem? He actually went to the effort of writing a poem for everyone to see rather than the simple, beautiful word "no"? What a dickwad. And for all of the people who seem unable to understand that the OP loved the guy, there is a) this thing called unrequited love, even if it isn't quite the real deal... it still sorta counts b) maybe the OP was flirting because she already loved him and hoped if she gave him signals, he'd ask her out. Or something. Good luck getting some sort of payback... rejection over the internet is so uncalled for.
