Today, I could no longer handle the drum music in the apartment below me so I went to kindly ask the little old lady to shut it off before she goes to bed. Her neighbor came out while I knocked to tell me she is out of town and the music is constant so her cats don't get lonely. FML

Don't call the cops on a little old lady, she's doing it with the best intentions :) its adorable, just turn up some music you like to drown it out, or ear plug time

File a noise disturbance complaint with management and the police if necessary!

then you call the police or the apartment managers and force the lady to turn it off. it's inconvenient for her to do that. she has no right.
