Today, I decided to attach fifteen-pound weights to each foot so I could burn some extra calories while shoveling snow. My dad asked me to move one of the cars in the driveway. When I put my foot on the gas pedal, I couldn't take it off. I ended up hitting my sister and knocking her into a snow bank. FML

are u stupid?? u have to take at least a week to let ur body to adjust to the ankle weights before u do activities like driving and sports!!! i would know, cuz i use ankle weights too.

I can understand why you'd wear the weights while shoveling snow, but you have to be a moron not to realize you might want to take them off while driving! YDI for being stupid.

You aren't going to get in better shape through just one little exercise. It has to be a consistent and continuing effort. Also, this is your sister's FML, not yours, and you'd clam it if you knew what was good for you.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!! wow why would you not take them off before you drive. and WTF, you couldn't lift them? obviously you did when you put it in gear because you have to push the brake in first, so why didnt you realize it was stupid or too heavy for ou or whatever.

Ok, this one made me laugh. I really feel for your poor sister - the innocent bystander - and hopefully she is not too hurt. So ... it didn't occur to you to take the weights off your feet before driving...?

You, sir, are an idiot. Seriously, take the weights off first. Driving with weights on your feet, when you have to be able to lift and move your feet in a split second, is insanely stupid. Second, it puts too much strain on your body if you add weight to your feet. Attach them somewhere higher up, like your calves or thighs, or even wear the weights on your torso. You'll get the most benefit from that.
