The relationship clearly wasn't going well. Even if she did voice it as an ultimatum, if he really wanted the relationship fixed, he should have realized the seriousness of the situation and sucked up his pride / grown up. If he's emotionally unable to do that, he shouldn't be seriously dating anyone, and she definitely deserves better.

well, you have your answer and hopefully some closure. you tried to give him a chance and he blew it. not what you wanted but things happen for a reason and that thing that's gonna happen next just might be the love of your life who will actually want to talk things out with you. Gaming isn't something that should just suck you in and ruin your relationships. You can still game avidly and make time for a social life. This guy's just an asshat. Whether he knew it was his last chance or not, he shouldn't have just flat out ignored OP so he could game. In fact, he probably could've invited OP to play with him or, I don't know, get off of the damn thing.
