And that's why you don't eat random shit off the floor, ladies and gentlemen.
Mmmm. Bettlejuice
And the worst part? A dog wouldn't get sick from a single M&M.
I agree with #2. But it's okay... rather safe than sorry.
wow you're dumber than the beetle, you really think you're dog is gonna get sick off one m&m??
ok to those fellas above who dont know better.. choc kills a dog. yes. it might be a tiny m&m but it is deadly to dogs. but u do not pick stuff off the flr and pop it into yr mouth dude!
Yes, chocolate kills a dog, but one m&m isn't going to do much. Dogs have to eat a significant amount before it will kill them. One m&m won't do anything, something like a brownie would make them sick, and like, a cake would definitely kill them. But it's just best to keep chocolate away from them at all times anyway.
Only baker's chocolate is deadly to dogs.
You are clearly one of those "fellas who don't know better". Milk chocolate is not deadly to dogs. It's obviously not good for them, but it just isn't strong enough to kill a dog. Dark chocolate, especially baker's chocolate, is what you need to be concerned about. However, even if it was dark chocolate, a piece as small as an m&m would not make a dog sick. Everything depends on the size of the dog, the strength of the chocolate, and the amount of chocolate ingested. Please get your facts straight.
My dog ate a whole box of chocolates and no, he didn't die. I honestly don't know why people freak over the whole chocolate thing unless my dog is just one of a kind.

snatching it off the floor so your dog doesn't eat it....good. Popping it in your mouth before looking at it....not so good.
