Today, I decided to start running to stay fit. Before I left, I put my cell phone in my sweat shirt pocket, and jumped vigorously up and down and ran around my apartment to make sure it wouldn't fall out. On a bridge, it slides out of my pocket and drops fifteen feet into the water below. FML

Why bring a cell when you're running when you can jsut use the publique phones

why do you need your phone when you run are you really going to use it for that 45 min tops but I doubt you run that long or are you just that attactched because that's sad if you are.

Good lord, people think they have to take their cell phones EVERYWHERE with them...you can be disconnected from the world for a few minutes it's ok...people did it all the time oh say 20 years ago lol

thats why you dont leave electronics in your coat while running

it's july. not sure where you are but in alot of places it's too hot for a coat

happened to me. i go to a bridge where my friend tells me the phone is going to fall out so it put it in a safe pocket then move it to a regular pocket sit on the side of the bridge and it falls never to be seen again

Question to all the naysayers: why NOT bring your phone? Not like it's weighing you down. In this case she should have secured it properly but otherwise there's not a lot of reason to leave it behind. What's the point of having a mobile phone if you just leave it at home?

And what's the point of buying a mobile just to give it to the fishes?

the point of having a phone is to call when you need and have other people call you. but it does not mean you have to have your phone all the time! just when it's necessary.

I do live in The Netherlands, and it really isn't necessary to wear a coat.. >.< It's hot here also. And we don't have canals every 3 meters.. >.

Well, if it fell in the water I'd suggest you go down and start swimming. There's just no better work out then swimming.
