you completely deserve it, alot of the time the waitress/waiter has to foote the bill when people ditch the bill. i hope you feel like a complete fool

I don't see the FML here, you went out for dinner and you paid for it using your phone. You completely 100% deserve it, hope you had a good phone, but doubt it seeing as you're too cheap to even pay for a dinner.

I agree with others. I am from a developing country and recently moved here. I will never ever dine and dash. If I don't have the money for a nice place to eat, I just go to a restaurant. I didn't even know people did that! I don't know not ONE single person who has ever done that or admitted to having done that. I do, however, know someone who doesn't order anything and eats the leftovers of their other friends. Seriously, I have very little money ( i am a student with a minimum wage part time job) and I will NEVER ever think of doing something like that. WTF is wrong with people who think this is okay? Ugh. So disgusting.

I meant if I don't have the money for a nice meal in a restuarant I just go to McDonalds or suck it up and go to the caf (free food for students! I am in college).

If there's any justice in this world, the restaurant was able to pawn your phone off to make up for the money that you essentially stole from one of the workers, plus a very nice tip. YDI.
