Today, I did slightly below average on my programming project. Aside from it being unnecessarily difficult, I also couldn't focus on it due to problems at home. After I confided in my colleague about it, I heard him mutter, "I knew women were crappy programmers". FML

Don't let other people get you down. I learned some basic programming in college so I'm not experienced in the slightest, but I know that it's no easy task and it's definitely hard to do when you can't concentrate. Anyway, good luck with the programming op.

public class Sexist { public static void main(String[] argv) { Sexist.getInstance().init(); } private static instance; public static Sexist getInstance() { if (instance == null) { instance = new Sexist(); } return instance; } public Sexist() { } private void init() { while (OP.getProffesor(OP_Professor).isSexist()) { System.err.println(new StringBuilder().append("It's okay OP ").append(OP_Professor.getName()).append(" is just jealous of your programming skills.").toString()); } } } /*Hard to write code on a phone smh*/ }

I hate people like that. I'm a female CS major and I'm always at the top of my CS classes...

Has that guy heard of Yahoo CEO, Merissa Meyer?

Women are not crappy programmers. When I had trouble with one of my projects I asked one of my friends in the class (Who is a girl) to help me and she easily found the problem. Stupid Brackets XD

Woman are great programmers, but you should be more mindful of letting your home life effect your work life. When you start having issues at work because your home life is rough, that aren't going to pat you on the back and ask what's wrong. They will say your performance sucks and it needs to improve.

Funny, when programming first became a thing almost all programmers were female.

Don't worry, it's their inferior complex talking. I've been there. I've heard remarks about my gender but I know it is just my schoolmates being bitter because I'm better and have better grades. I know that they know they are losers so they try to feel less unsuccessful by devaluating other people's success. "It's not that I'm unsucessful, others got lucky/cheated/whatever". Needless to say that most (of the frustrated jerks) failed at the end of semester.
