Today, I didn't even bother to turn my cellphone off in a movie theater because I knew no one would text me or call. FML

I've done (or rather not done) the same thing, but then I've only given my cell phone number to a very few people who know not to call unless it's very important or urgent. Back when I was growing up, they didn't even HAVE cell phones.

I was expecting the fml to continue with "it went off anyway - it was a battery notification. FML"

Has fml really come to this? This is stupid...they probably don't have any friends to call because of a personality defect that makes them a loser...

if I knew you personally I would blow up your phone all because of this

Looks like an FML I would post :( F Our Lives

Lol I leave mine on because I always seem to get texts or calls when I'm busy.

I can concur with you. I feel the same, as I usually go to movies alone. Although, I switch off my phone as I'm not giving karma a chance, only to be disappointed when I turn it back on and no one tried to contact me. I sometimes forget to switch it back on for hours after the movie, and still no one tried to contact me. My friends are always too busy...

Story of my life... Alone forever buddies :,(

A movie is only 90 minutes to two hours normally. People shouldn't be bombarded by messages and calls every two hours anyway. I would go insane.
