Hey guys, OP here. Forgot to log into my account when I posted. Needless to say, this was about 2 years ago, and the friend didn't stay my friend long, and the girlfriend didn't stay girlfriend long. Also, in response to the people saying "11 months, why wait that long?" I loved her. I don't believe all relationships have to be sexual in order to flourish. I also don't believe in pressuring people into it. Thanks for all the messages! I'm between relationships at the moment, but I'm in a better place with nicer friends now.
