Mine does too. I wash it regularly and basically boil it every once in awhile, but I think she stopped doing it now.

Meh not that big of a deal. If you put water on it first and then toothpaste I'm pretty sure you'd be all set. If you really have a problem with it put your toothbrush in a place the kitteh can't get it.
