Next question is what did you discover when you talked to your wife about it? You can make judgments and be creeped out all you like, but until you talk to her about it you won't know if it's something bad or not. I've seen some things that look totally insane that have turned out to be perfectly normal - like a dare or a bet, class project (like modern art), a prank, add drugs and/or alcohol and the possibilities are endless.
