Today, I discovered that I have developed an allergy to salt water on my face. Now, every time I sweat or cry, I come up in a bright red rash. I am allergic to my own bodily fluids. FML

whoa that is so weird. I cry so much, if I had a salt water allergy I would've probably died by now. FYL HOW DOES ANYONE DESERVE THAT?!!?

By making a story like this up? Seriously, there isn't a specific allergy to only salt water and only on your face. Allergies are never that specific.

I'm gonna have to call bullshit on this one, sorry.

I've had the same stuff for like 3 years now, yeah, it is possible, and annoying as hell... >.

It may not be an allergy... You may just have incredibly dry skin. My face will turn red and burn when I cry because the salt just dries it out much more.

welcome to the world of eczema. it's not fun. sunshine will become your mortal enemy.

Pubmed citation or stop talking. Allergy to water would mean allergy to your blood

BULLSHIT. I know this because there's no salt in your tears. Your tears and sweat taste salty because of the enzymes on your face from all the nasty buildup of the day. When you suddenly cry, you're not tasting your salty tears but rather all the dirt that has collected in your pores throughout the day.

You all ******* fail scientifically "Aquagenic Urticaria" look it up. I am no Dr but I would go see one if I were you. I don't think you have Aquagenic Urticaria but it is possible and it is also possible that your skin may be sensitive to something secreted by your tears. L2use wikipedia people.
