Today, I drove 600 miles to be with my boyfriend of two years for his uncle's funeral. He didn't want me to come because I am seven months pregnant and flying is dangerous in the third trimester. When I got there I don't know who was more suprised to see me: him, his wife, or their kids. FML

Today, I met my SO's best friend for the first time. He gave us both a big smile and hug, and congratulated us on the pregnancy. Except… I'm just overweight, not pregnant. The entire two hour drive to his house was spent with me trying to hold back tears, and a very awkward silence between them. FML

Today, I drove across two states to see my brother, who's had a history of heart problems. My mother had sent me a long e-mail saying he was on his death bed and wanted to talk to me to "get his affairs in order." When I arrived worriedly, he was fine. My mother guilt-tripped me to come visit. FML

UPDATE FROM OP: Yea, I understand that OP's almost never comment on their own posts, but whatever, I don't know any of you people and for those who are interested, I'll give you an update. For those who think I'm just a *****, well, who cares what you think. First of all, I was with the man in question here for over a year before I got pregnant. Honestly, I can't believe how stupid I feel for not knowing that he had another life, but th reality is that it wasn't a long distance thing at all. He lived in the city and we stayed together more than 3 nights in any given week. He worked in the city and his family lived in the suburbs... you know what... doesn't matter. I feel quite stupid for falling for this guy and he deserves nothing. After the "incident" at the funeral. His wife divorced him and sued him for custody of his 3 kids, our baby is now 8 months old, we are not together, nor talking, but he is paying child support out the rear end. For those of you who think I'm a ***** who think I should have waited to have sex before marriage... I can't say much to that other than get over it, I am 29 years old, I took a chance, birth control is only 99% effective and I love my little girl more than anything in the world and I do not regret a thing.

Good. He doesn't deserve to be with either of you. I've lived with someone who'd be away every other week, so I can understand how this could happen. And in my opinion, you're not a ***** at all. Sex is pretty damn normal in a healthy relationship. The best of luck to you and the little lady.
