**** you. You should know how to drive a stick before you think everything in your life is ruined. It's not that hard, it just takes practice, and yes, you will make a fool of yourself, but in the end you will be able to drive properly. Don't bitch about learning.
How do you lurch forward into the car next to you? This is obviously a lie.
It's disgusting that most cars in the U.S. are automatics. It's getting more and more difficult to even FIND a car that's offered with a manual transmission anymore. What's not to like? More control, better fuel economy and a lot more involvement in the driving experience. YDI - not for not knowing how to drive a manual, but for being stupid enough to spend your attention on flirting instead of the unfamiliar task at hand.
This FML doesn't make a whole lot of sense. First of all, when a car stalls out it dies. It may lurch forward a little bit at first but once the engine dies then the car stops immediately because it is in gear. However, even if the car went forward, OP said that the light was green and she was TRYING to go forward. So basically, very poor driving!
thats not good for the car the transmission or the clutch could ****** up and then youll have to spend alot of money having to get a new one i like how im 14 and i even know how to drive a stick shift
My car does that too, always hours sideways when I go forward

YDI for not knowing how to drive a stick shift.
@4, have you ever stalled a car in gear? She prob popped the clutch without giving enugh gas which causes the car to launch forward and then stall fr not giving enough gas. So yes you can stall a car and lurch it forward, still though YDI for trying to race without practice.
