I agree. "Haha, eww..." Is he 8? He's probably going to say you have coodies next. At least you know to move on op, cause he's obviously not worth your time. Time to find a guy that's more mature, respectful, and sweet. And for those not seeing the problem here, (referring to all the "he has a right not to date her/have an opinion" comments) he could've easily just said, "sorry, I'm not really interested in her that way" instead of saying something so rude and insulting to her friend, most likely in public, knowing this would almost definitely get back to her.

The truth is, that is just how it goes. Just because you find someone attractive doesn't mean they think of you are. The best thing to do is move on. The faster you do that the better off you are.

It's one thing to not be attracted to someone. Saying 'ew' and that they look like a gnome is quite another.
