Today, I egged my cheating ex’s car. Actually, I should clarify; I egged my cheating ex’s sister’s car, thinking it was his. She gave me a black eye and knocked out two of my teeth while my ex laughed his ass off. FML

This is why trying to take physical revenge against exes is never worth it. Something always goes wrong, or it doesn't impact them as enough to make the resulting trouble worth it. Now, then having to see you move on with your life and not crumble into despair or rage? THAT gets under the skin of people like that. They do what they do to destroy you, and when they don't get the result they want, they lose it.

Sorry That he cheated, but physical revenge usually doesn’t end well and if the eggs permanently damaged his car paint he could sue you for damage. Cheating on a gf or bf isn’t illegal, however damaging property is. YDI.

There are definitely situations where physical revenge is justified, and it doesn't make automatically make the person getting revenge worse than the original perpetrator of the wrong.

I hope you learned a lesson here. Either don't egg cars or be 100% sure it's the right car. You are lucky it wasn't my car, I would have cracked ya over the head with a crowbar.

Taking revenge is an egg-cercise in futility. These situations always result in egg-streme and often egg-splosive consequenses. While her reaction might’ve been egg-saggerated, you did egg her car.

I'm sorry you got cheated on but that doesn't give you the right to vandalize someone's car even if he deserved it. You got what you deserved. Hopefully their not a next time. But next time talk with yours friends have a pity for me (you) party. Or go have some rebound sex
