Hey, OP here! c I just wanted to quickly clarify, I did not expect this to be published I was having a pretty bad day and out of needing to vent so I posted the most recent event. I am a cis female, not transgender. However I have polycystic ovarian disorder and I deal with hair growing in places such as my face which is why I believe the girl asked as I hadn't shaved that day... For me, the testosterone I have really effects my confidence so this did knock me back a little bit but thankfully I have very supportive friends and wonderful boyfriend who tell me not to worry so much. c: Thank you for all the positive feedback and comments, it really helps.

That's great that you have people in your life that support you. Stay beautiful, OP!
Don't shave it makes it grow back thicker, maybe try waxing or laser hair removal?
#102 Shaving doesn't make your hair grow back thicker, it's just a myth.
I agree with the laser hair removal. It's wonderful! I have no hair on my legs and I've had 6 treatments. Look online and try to find a deal. My mom found me one for my bday that cost her 100$ an it's a years of treatment.
I've once been called mister by a little girl while I was wearing a dress with my hair in a braid and a flowered bag on my shoulder. I don't remember if I had shaved my legs though, I have so much hair there that I often skip days because otherwise I'd go crazy.
I suffer from PCOS myself so I understand what you're dealing with...it sucks.
I've got PCOS too! God, the times I've been called "mustachio" are uncountable. It just sucks, I'm sorry OP :( I can really recommend laser hair removal, tho it's very expensive... But sometimes insurance will cover the costs for you, especially in the facial zone. Maybe it's something to look I into?
I have PCOS too but thankfully I have not yet been called a man. But this hormone disorder is horrible. I have to always go get my hair threaded or waxed. Now wanting to have kids..makes the happy moments become dreaded moments. Not knowing whether I will be able to conceive. Many of us deal with this OP, you are not alone so don't stress:)
Comment moderated for rule-breaking.
Show it anywayRrright. Do you even read? You do realize we're talking about a syndrome here that causes hormonal imbalance, and not about some fuckboy's little beard issues? We have this syndrome, we know what we're talking about.
x2 for laser removal I got it done on my neck best idea.
I too have pcos and suffer from anxiety and depression ingot flash and go for Christmas which is a laser hair removed and it works amazingly I've been using it for a while and I can see a huge difference I suggest trying that OP it might help you also listen to songs that help boost confidence like show you what a girl is and other songs like that :)
I have PCOS too. I know how you feel I hated having to shave my beard and mustache. My parents and I talked and I have had laser treatments. But I also had friends that were supportive and did not make fun of my high testosterone levels.
was the little girl a pokemon professor?
This is probably the best comment I've seen all day
This little girl may be forming her own gender identity, and as such, is curious about others' gender identity as well. It is quite common for young children to ask multiple people this question as they begin to process gender differences! Outward appearance does not seem to influence them: they ask everyone, no matter how they look!
As a child who has asked this question before, no, children do not ask everybody their gender. It has everything to do with sexual ambiguity.
So you're every child in the world?? awesome!! Every child is different and their reasons for asking vary a great deal. Some kids don't ever ask this question at all.
Overrated? I don't think one can put too much importance on what could be considered the building blocks of life. Unless of course life is overrated as well. If that's the case your use of the term overrated is, well, overrated. Based on your profile social situations and real life contact are overrated.
Wut
Gender is over rated? No. There are two. Go back to tumblr you ****** and kill yourself
Nucleic acids are the building blocks of life. Asexual reproduction is more basic than sexual reproduction. Gender is not overrated, however your comment and your other comments are not logically sound. Also, to all of you, sex and gender are different concepts. Gender, while important to sexual reproduction, is not key in all species, while sex is always important. One anomaly for example is a species of lizard of all females. Most reptiles reproduce sexually (1 male + 1 female). This species however evolved to be able to asexually reproduce. The female will have babies that are essentially clones of her self. So sex is not important in this example. The interesting note lies in the fact that the female will not reproduce unless mounted in coitus with another female whom takes a male gender role, even though no fertilization is actually taking place. So here is a case where gender is more important than even sex is. In most species gender is still important, albeit maybe less so than sex.
Something like that can really put down your confidence. I'm really insecure about my chest size and a little girl asked me why I didn't have any boobs in front of my crush. Not fun. I'm sure you're beautiful OP don't let a kid get you down!
he would already know you had a small chest so her bringing it up shouldn't be a big deal. hopefully he likes you back and not because of your chest size. Good luck.
well which one are you?
Prof. Oak wanted to know.
Don't worry, OP... it's not that you don't look good, it's just that Prof. Oak's children are catching up to you.
I have polysistic ovarian syndrome too. It can be pretty hard to deal with it. But I know that we can both get through this
You should ask her if her parents ever considered about teaching her manners.
