Today, I finally felt motivated to do some exercise. As I got my weights out, I noticed out of the corner of my eye someone moving about outside my window. I got scared and dropped a weight on my foot. The person outside was my own reflection. FML

Weights aren't exactly exercise, they're sort of toning up. I know people will contradict me and say "It's anaerobic exercise" and say stuff like that but if you just want to work on your muscles, do weights. If you want actual exercise and to get fitter, go running or do something exerting. We all know which of those two options is the more honourable and better option for you.

Ever been to high school health class? There are 3 types of fitness, strength stamina and flexibility. So lifting is proving one aspect of fitness. Although if you want to lose fat fast, go running.

You can get a toned body with low weights and high repetitions if that's what you mean by "fitter". It all depends on the exercise you do.

Weights absolutely are exercise...by definition of exercise... More importantly, lifting weights increases your metabolism which allows you to burn more calories while at rest. However, I'm more taken aback that you brought honour into this.

That's a really good tip. Weight has to be lost before you can see the effects of weightlifting anyway. If you see those people on shows like Biggest Loser who do weights and cardio at the same time, their arms looks weird. It looks like they just rearranged their fat to look like muscles.
