Today, I finally got a job interview, and I thought it went amazing. They were supposed to call me today or tomorrow with the news. Today is also the day that my phone company decided to cut my phone off. FML

this is when you call them, say "hello, this is (name), I was calling to follow up on my interview yesterday. I am having some problems with my phone, the number I gave you is being unreliable, you can reach me at (alternate friend or family number).

looks like someone forgot to pay the phone bill.

looks like someone *couldn't afford* to pay the phone bill.

ditto #8 and #13, you don't have to explain anything, just let them know you're having phone difficulties

go to the building u were interviewed at and tell them problem solved

awe man that sucks. I feel for ya. I've been there and know it all too well. :(

Sell your plasma, pay your bills. Blood money makes the world go 'round anyway.

Y. D. I. It's as simple as that. If there's one bill I always make sure is paid, it's the one that gets me paid... and if I'm out of work, that's my phone bill.

This is a real FML, not like having a kid pee on you while you hold it up to show it some lions.

like visit em to give them another number? fyl if you mis the call by your own stupidity of not coming up with that yourself

Well, you have no job, and no phone, but somehow, you are able to post to FML. At least your broadband is paid up, or you were able to pay an Internet cafe for access. Where ever you are, unless you are in jail, you are even allowed more than one phone call. Hmmm...

You know this didn't necessarily happen "today", and there are FREE wi-fi hotspots.

Well, it did say, "today", and I do tend to take things literally, but, somehow, it seemed to me like the OP was expressing the total hopelessness of their situation, when, actually, there were reasonable options available.
