Things such as days to be worked, are usually mentioned in the job description or during the interview. You deserve it for not listening/paying attention.
At least you have a job. Maybe you can set up some weeknight plans or something. That's what I used to do when I had a job and worked weekends, and what I will do if the next one means working weekends. Most people will go along with it unless they work weeknights, if they really want to hang out with you they'll be a bit flexible to your schedule too. And as others have said, shouldn't they have gone over this before hiring you? Most jobs tell you in the job listing what shifts they're trying to fill, and would confirm your availability before hiring which should be a clue too.
I know the feels. I work 12 hour shifts, and every other three day weekend. It sucks.
For some reason I saw this coming... Can't you change your availability?
You're still missing out, but at least you're getting paid for it now!
I know it sucks but sadly we all need money to live. Hopefully your work mates will become your friends. And even though you are at work you may find some social benefits from your roster.
I used to work every Saturday and every Sunday starting at 6am. I wasn't one for going out at the time, but other people on the team used to go out anyway and turn up to work still drunk on a Saturday/ Sunday morning. The boss wasn't particularly bothered as long as we got the job done, he even expected it seeing as we were all between 18 and 25. Depending on the job, you may be able to get away with it!
No job: "Can't hang out no money." Gets job: "Can't hang out no time."
**** her right in the pussy
At least you make some cash instead of sitting it out on the couch right?

It wasn't in the description or discussed in the interview?
Welcome to life, my friend.
