you know there's an option when you order your passport to have it rushed? and if your traveling within 2 weeks your supposed to visit your local state dept office

I've never had a reason to get a passport, but if I did I'd make sure I had it before paying expensive airfare. You deserve it for leaving room for mistake in a situation that has an easy step-by-step process.. Pricey lesson I'm guessing..
