Today, I finally told my boyfriend I have a medical condition that makes me grow an unusual amount of hair on my face, so I shave every day. He said he was leaving me because he refuses to be with a "bearded lady". FML

I have PCOS and shave my face daily. My fiancé has seen me at the hospital without a razor (and neck surgery so avoid shaving!), so he is very aware of my "beard"... And supports me, though like poking fun.

My mom has PCOS too and she stopped shaving a while ago. She's been with my dad for over 20 years and he still loves her very much, even as a "bearded lady". You just have to find the right person.

I know a lot of girls with PCOS that grow an abnormal amount of facial hair. It's just hair and it can easily be removed! Hair is normal! He's shallow OP and as cliche as it sounds, you're better off without someone like that in your life. You deserve better.

Just curious.. Have long have you been together? If it's a long time I could understand him being upset for not being told. However something like that is no reason for someone to dump you. I know a few people that have conditions like yours so I don't see why he thinks it's a big deal. You're better off without his pettiness.
