Well, first it starts off with two people learning each others names and interests. When people start dating, they become exclusive to one another. Its like a promise to learn more about that person and get to a deeper level than being "just friends". Loving the person comes somewhere in the process of learning about them. How can one honestly say they love someone they know nearly nothing about? The whole, "Oh we just started going out yesterday and I love him!!" stuff is complete bullshit. 4 months probably wasn't enough time for her to learn if she loved him. F his life because of her seemingly apathetic response though.
