Today, I finally weighed myself after going on a strict diet of only fruits, vegetables, and coffee. I gained weight. FML

How about not eating all carbs and sugars (even if the sugars are natural)? It truly amazes me how uneducated people are when it comes to nutrition. Your body uses carbs (veggies, fruit, grains) as a storage system for energy. And guess what your bodies way of "storing energy" is when you don't use that energy(exercise).... That's right FAT!

And also someone above me said " you need to replace meat with protein" if your a vegetarian. Let's get things straight. Protein is a macronutrient, meat is a FOOD GROUP! Jesus...

You know that in fruit there is sugar.....

If you didn't get enough calories, your body may gone into starvation mode, thus storing fat more than usual.

You aware about the fact that fruits have sugar, right? some of them even alot. good examples being apples, oranges, lemons. Read a lil before being dissapointed. ydi

diets don't ever work for one thing. plus, you have to eat in moderation incorporating a food from every category, and you have to exercise.

You can never quit anything cold turkey like that. It happened to my dog, too. We tried feeding him less and he only gained a pound. If you're gonna diet you have to get into the diet slowly.

Well what the heck did you except from drinking coffee...

Only fruit and veg? Ever heard of a balanced diet?
