As a girl who has really extreme mood swings before her period, yes, this is normal behavior. Everyone has a different experience. Doesn't mean it's not normal. P.s. Just yesterday I was lashing out at my boyfriend when he tried to talk to me. I'm fine now.
Bags packed. Car. Tail lights. It's a shortened haiku.
My brother's girlfriend acts like this. She gets incredibly mean then comes over to my house and yells at me for no reason. It's crazy and scary but it really can happen.
As a girl that has had extensive tests done because I've suffered the same severe PMS, I can say all my tests came back normal and the only thing that helped me is the implanon (a contraceptive.) When I get my period and I don't have the implanon or its nearing changing time I get heavily suicidal to the point I will cut, I get emotional and abusive (both physically and verbally,) people even saying hello to me can trigger me into a screaming mess. With the implanon I just get a bit a sad, a bit flat... maybe I eat too much bread for a week or get mildly grumpy and tell people to leave me alone for a while. Nothing worth writing home about. Honestly, it's awful and horrible for all involved and if this is normal for her I would suggest maybe trying the same thing if she's comfortable with the idea. Either way, good luck OP.
I can tell when my wife is on her period because she gets really horny and then gripes about how we can't have sex. I always suggest anal but she never goes for it...
Actually, sex can still be had while women are on their period! It may be a bit messy, but it isn't bad for either partner. It actually can help with period pains and hormone imbalance.
I will add to #46 that you can still get pregnant when having sex while she is on her period so be safe kids!
Don't just assume because she lashed out that she is on her period. That is way more then pmsing, someone else is wrong
while it's not normal behavior for some women their period and the PMS is just a nightmare they can be very grouchy fortunately none of my wives had the problem
A possibility could be that she is annoyed with you
That is way extreme for a normal period Bitchiness. There is more going on than just her period. If she is THAT hormonal that she becomes verbally abusive I'd find out what's going.
Is there something she's upset about? I'm not saying that we aren't like that on our periods, but assuming she's on her period isn't a great thing to do. That seems to be the go-to solution for anyone who sees me angry or upset. It gets frustrating and annoying, but that's me point is check that she's doing okay. It's possible something's been going on that you haven't noticed and she's upset about it

Women (we) get crabby and sometimes irrational. But this thing about lashing out so awfully...you don't deserve that. If she is that angry, there is more than PMS going on.
Tourettes Syndrome is usually diagnosed at a very young age and accompanied by motor and verbal tics. Swearing tics are extremely rare, yet the most stereotyped. -Diagnosed at age 5
