In Europe, probably not a big deal. Here in the States, everyone would shit a brick over it. Don't know about Australia. You have a good point though. Many people will be taking care of their elderly parents one day, and they'll be seeing a LOT worse than a torso nude from Mom.

just being the same gender doesnt mean she has to put up with it... once my mom's bathroom garbage can spilled over and she wanted me to pick up and put back in the bin all her used pads because "we both have periods, so its no big deal" 1) that's gross, pick up ur own dirty pads 2) i dont use pads, i use tampons which can flush down the toilet so that doesnt happen 3) because of my birth control, i dont even HAVE them anymore
