Today, I found my mother wandering the halls of my fraternity unescorted and asked why she was here, she told me she was concerned when I didn't pick up my phone for two days. She then informed me that she had also moved to the same city I live in. My mother moved over 600 miles to stalk me. FML

Today, I found out that my mother has been telling several people that my fiancé and I will be moving into her house for the foreseeable future. All because we're moving to a city close by for jobs and are still searching for housing. I found this out from several of the people she told. FML

Today, I moved out of my parents' house and started living alone. All of a sudden, my parents started requiring me to text or call them every 5 minutes to tell them where I am and what I'm doing, from 6am to 12am every day. If I don't, they will go looking for me, and force me to move back in with them. FML

Today, I got home and once again my mom started shouting at me for ignoring her and never visiting. For context, I moved from London to Yorkshire to escape the evil cow. She not only found me, she bought the house next door to mine and moved in. I can’t afford to move again any time soon. FML

Today, even though I was very clear before I went on holiday that I was going completely zero contact to de-stress, my mother rang at least twice a day. When I stopped answering the phone, she found the direct number of the local police station in a foreign country and sent them to find me. FML

Today, I was talking to my mom about how my fiancé has been ignoring me and that I didn't know why. Turns out, my mother told him that I was too much of a handful, was mentally disturbed and also cheating on him. Just so I wouldn't move out and would keep cleaning her house for free. FML

I seriously, SERIOUSLY doubt that she decided to permanently move to where you are in those two days that you did not return her phone calls. There is no way that she could have found someplace to live, found a job, etc. Also. Your mom cares about you. More than you care about her. Just because you turned 18 doesn't mean that's going to, or should ever stop. Perhaps you should grow up and have some consideration for your mother's worries. How difficult is it to return a phone call? YDI.

at least send her an email or call to let her know you are doing okay. if it is a cell she was trying to call you should have seen it, and im guessing she would have left a message. im in college too and my mom gets worried when i don't answer my phone or call, but i try to make an effort to stay in touch just to let her know im okay. she is your mom, she raised you and you should respect her. when i miss a call from my mom i try to call her back within a few hours, or at least the next day when i don't get to my phone until late at night. shoot her a text at least letting her know you are alive and that you are busy, it is final time. but in your defense, two days? i hope she had something really important to tell you.

neither i didnt picked up the phone for 5 days because i forgot to charge it, but my mum never dares to do such thing to me. i wouldnt even talk to her anymore.. put a restriction ban on her, so u can get a gf at least . or if not then enjoy your life with ur mum annoying u how cute little baby u are until ur 30
