Time to transfer!
Maybe you could buy her a cat or a puppy because she's obviously crazy lonely.
hahahah that sucks
Aww, I feel so terribly sorry for your mom. She has so much time and so little going on in her life that she would move to be near you? I'd hate to be so very lonely when I'm older... Getting her a puppy is a good idea. Even better would be getting her a boyfriend, but I guess that's up to her.
Your going to be the village idiot lol. I hope she doesnt make her appearances frequent and random, good luck
Your mom is CRAZY.
This is an FYL for sure. I agree with FoundManyLemons. Time to transfer.
To all those people saying YDI because he should have called.....think about it. He's a COLLEGE kid who didn't contact his mother for two days. He's a grown-up with his own life and she needs to let him go. Not to mention it is the end of the school year now so he's probably very busy with finals and papers.I can understand her concerrn but moving 600 miles to where he lives in two days because he hasn't called her is ludicrous.
Apply to a new college. She's missing the point of growing up and having separation from parental influence/control. Have a chat with her.
Come on guys- everyone's saying he's excused from not answering his mom because he's in college? Yeah, you might be busy in college but seriously... You have way more down time than in high school. You might choose to use that for studying or partying, but the OP almost certainly could have spared 10 minutes to talk to his mom on the phone. Sorry, OP, your mom is pretty psycho for moving 600 miles to be closer to you, but YDI. (especially if she's paying for your college)

Today, I tried calling my son yet again, and got no response. I've been calling him for days. I'm worried out of my mind and I'm going to move 600 miles to be with him. FML
You couldn't call her back after your hangover ended?
