Yeah, I had to move to Europe to get the stalking to stop. I'm older now, but if I lived in the States it would continue. My only words of wisdom are: if you see a missed call from your mother, just text her back saying you are OK. Believe me, it defuses the whole situation. I was out of contact for a few days once over here and she almost called the embassy to start looking for me. Just text her next time. My sister still lives at home. If she doesn't come home by 10 or call, my mom will still go driving around looking for her. My sister is 33. Mother's never stop being mothers. I'll never understand it.
Wow. What a creepy mother. And I thought it was bad enough when mine called my friends after I didn't pick up her phone calls after a while.
For the people saying OP is being cold hearted what is wrong with YOU? It isnt normal for a mom to move 600 miles because she didnt hear from him in two days. He is in COLLEGE. He shouldnt have to be watched like a 4 year old. There is a thing as TOO MUCH loving so no she didnt have to move 600 mi to check up on her "baby"
Overly protective mother much?
That's creepy.
"Next time a ser your damn phone"... OP's mother.
i think that's absolubtly adorable. mine's locked up.

Today, I tried calling my son yet again, and got no response. I've been calling him for days. I'm worried out of my mind and I'm going to move 600 miles to be with him. FML
You couldn't call her back after your hangover ended?
