Sounds like that one time my pet rabbit escaped and I found it lying dead, next to me in the morning. It was wet and soggy. I chewed it.

no self respecting hamster would take a licking from a dog and not get the he'll out of Dodge at the first opportunity. if hammie was still there it was not a survivor. poor hammie.

Guys, if a dog chewed a hamster, there is very little chance it would still be alive, and if it was, it would be circling the drain. Like 63 said, if it was alive it would have been long gone, but because it was still there, I'm going to go ahead and assume it was dead, or very close to dying.

when I was 5 I found my hampster in the couch... about a week after he went missing. :( RIP Lance II (the 2nd) I feel your pain! lol
