Sounds like that one time my pet rabbit escaped and I found it lying dead, next to me in the morning. It was wet and soggy. I chewed it.

yea my dog did that to my roomates daughters hamster. she left the door open and my boxer wanted to play with it and got In the cage and licked it and litteraly scaring it to death

that my friend, is why you but a guinea pig. Piggies get way bigger and stronger and meaner than a hampster. cat has no chance.

Ferrets! They still might not win a fight with a dog, but they'll make damn sure that dog knows what he's up against, and inflict as much damage as possible on the way down.
