my now ex boyfriend used to text me "good morning babe" every morning when he got up for at work at 7 a.m. It was sweet at first...but having to wake up at 7 to the same robotic words every morning got REALLY old.

I agree with most of the people in this reply thread It's not cute having someone text you "good night" every ******* night, especially at midnight when it's likely to wake you up. I don't know in what world that would be sweet.

My boyfriend and I are 2000 miles apart for the summer and I text him goodnight and goodmorning everyday and he likes it. Idk everyone is different I guess. I agree that automating it takes out a lot, if not all, of the significance though. I think the OP was just excited about trying a new feature on her phone, but she should have thought it a little more, a month of automated messages would get annoying.

Besides the fact that its automated, I think its sweet. I think any of the guys I've dated would have found it cute... just, not automated. However, tres awkward that you can't stop it. He probably thinks you're a creeper now.

because that's not creepy at all to be sitting in bed at midnight every night and get a text saying i love you sweet dreams! because EVERY guy finds that cute to be freaked out at midnight every night thirty or thirty one times in a row

Only girls would like to get that message every single night! Guys don't look @ that stuff as cute they see it as annoying!
