Today, I found out I have sodium fluoride poisoning. Apparently, my water has a high level of sodium fluorine. I've been drinking much more water lately trying to be healthier. FML

I didn't even know that was actually possible.... just try and drink bottled water instead of from the tap. it'll hopefully prevent that.

If FML has taught us anything, it is that when you try bad things happen.

That's terrible that they are adding unsafe amounts, you need to report this somehow. My husband is crazy paranoid about the government and fluoride . He is a plumber and installed a reverse osmosis water filtration system to remove all the fluoride from the water at our house. Then worried we were loosing all minerals so added a re-mineraliser to add minerals back into the water. It's very loud and waste allot of water trying while purifying the water. I'd say bottled water would be easier!!

what a coincidence, Brita water bottles have really good filters.

In the long run bottled water will add up...but over all a water purifier may not be a bad idea...or drastically go to well water

Wow, look at all the misguided amateur chemists and biologists commenting on this one! Don't quit your day jobs. And please, for the love of god, stop trying to give advice based on what your paranoid friends on social media have reposted. As for the OP, I strongly doubt that the municipal water supply has been over-fluoridated, since the EPA highly regulates tapwater. If the diagnosis is correct, then either OP is drinking well water from a highly mineralized well, or they've got an unidentified fluoride source in their diet. For instance a woman in Detroit (yes, also Michigan) was in the news last year with fluoride poisoning from drinking "the equivalent of 100 cups of tea a day for 17 years". There's a small amount of fluoride in tea.

The proof is that it is ******* illegal in Europe. Also Germany used it to poison enemy water supplies in WW2 because for some reason no one remembers that.

You know, I heard of a recent study the other day...it turns out that lab rats get cancer. Seems like this week's antioxidant miracle-workers are next week's toxic threat.

That doesn't seem terribly far-fetched though. All rats are prone to cancer. My friend raises rats and 98% of them die of cancerous tumors. She'd had almost 40 rats so far. *Mind you she got about 17 of them after two of them bred*. Cancer is high in rats.

It's the universe telling you it's okay to be fat

You must be in Peel Region! Heard all about it! The municipal water commission took responsibility

FYI fluorine and fluoride are not the same thing
