I don't know about you, but I think there's quite a large difference between a 13 year old and a 16 year old. When I was 13 I barely knew what sex was, and I know people who got married when they were 16 and are still together today. 13 seems worse in my opinion.

Umm, there is a major shortage of people who want to adopt children. The adoption process in this country is beyond ridiculous, and most children live many of their years in foster care/homes. Abortion isn't a drastic measure; it's the right choice for some people and the wrong choice for others. It's really not our choice to decide what is right for OP's son. Also, 139-lets not use our emotions here! Abortion is not the murder of child. A fetus is not a child.

I like how people are shifting the blame to the OP for making the same mistake when he was a teenager. Clearly the OP did the responsible thing and stuck around for his child. We are supposed to learn from our parent's mistakes, not repeat them. You know who should really be blamed? The girl. Legally speaking the OP's son couldn't give consent. When a crime is committed, I tend to blame the criminal, not the victim(s).

The baby's mother is a sex offender. 13 is under the age of consent.
