Just think... If each one follows suit, you'll be a great grandfather at 43, a great great grandfather at 57, a great great great grandfather at 71, a great great great great grandfather at 88, and if you live to be 99... Well you can do the math. Must be some kind of record! Plus kudos to the 13 yr old for bagging a 16 yr old girl... You gonna file statutory rape charges against her? Because if it was the other way around (boy was older) I'm sure her parents would.

My mom had me at 16, just because you have had a child at a young age doesn't mean your kids will follow in your foot steps. OP isn't being a hypocrite in saying FML that his kid knocked up some girl. No parent in their right mind would wish the hardship of raising a child at the age of 13. For the rest of OP's son's life he is going to have to deal with this kid, whom he can't even support yet. Also, OP's son's baby mama depending on the state that he lives in laws can be charged with rape even though she's under 18 herself.

Chances are: the kid won't end up raising the child: but he will be paying child support, or the father will be paying child support while both kids' parents will be raising it...

Well, yet again another person the public will take care of for someone's carelessness. Gotta love how we pay for other people's mistakes and stupidity. Of course assuming wic and other programs are used to help raise the child. No more survival of the fittest, or in this case, smartest.
