You don't have to be grandpa at 29, if you make some hard choices: Either the girl has an abortion, or you file sex offender charges against her. Ugly choices, but this is an ugly situation. At least it would put the breaks on the damaging family cycle of too-early parenthood and stunted futures.

No actually. It may make others feel better about themselves to assume "everyone" deals with or knows about teen pregnancy within the family-- but not everyone experiences it and yes, it is still something that is shameful and not a good thing. I'm not completely bashing teen parents, mistakes happen-- however, it doesn't mean we should condone such behavior and consequences. Teen pregnancy is definitely getting a positive image from today's media (16 and pregnant anyone?) and it's a real problem. My parents strictly raised me (which I'm grateful for now) and I didn't let my hormones or peer pressure control my actions. And believe me, I definitely don't need Jesus-- I'm way too smart for that BS.

When somebody sits there and calls him a hypocrite they are being unjust. He may have been strict with him and the kid rebelled.. My sister was raised in a very loving home with parents who were raising her right.. Little did we know she'd get pregnant at the young age of seventeen. I'm almost 18 years old and have experienced teen pregnancy since 6 years of age. People are also saying abort the child? It's not right to MURDER children.. In the bible it says Mary was great with CHILD not fetus.. People's minds are not right so yes, they do need Jesus honey and that's a face!
