Apparently a realtor is some kind of estate agent and a condo is an apartment. Never heard of that before.

A condo can be considered an apartment. It's usually a place that you own while maintenance and landscaping is supplied, sometimes at a very high cost. Condos around me are $1.5 million and up and small 900 square foot apartments are $800 to $1,200 a month. Typical condo association fees in my area are $35,000 a year.
