My grandfather died back in BF (Before Facebook), but it was still about a month before anyone got around to telling me. I am truly sorry for your loss.
That's horrible! Death notifications on fb is in very bad taste. Sorry.
facebook is the right thing to do.
I be pissed unless your somewhere where you can't use a phone example my brother on his second tour right now you never use facebook its insensitive
My aunt did the same thing when my uncle died. It caused a lot of drama with our family, because she's my aunt by marriage.
sorry for your loss
Wow how rude. You have my Condolences OP
I know how you feel, OP. I've a few relatives who have done the same.
I know how you feel, OP. My dad, 2 brothers, and sister live on the other side of the country. My brother went to the hospital in a life or death situation and instead of calling me, or at least texting me, I found out on Facebook. My dad, my sister, my other brother, and even my aunt posted statuses about it. My other brother messaged me and was like, "So, I guess you found out what happened to Anthony." and explained it to me. My dad texted me the next day and told me to call him before he left the hospital. I took that moment to say, "Thanks for letting me find out on Facebook" and his only apology was, "I'm sorry. I was panicking and the only person I told was his mom." But nobody calls or texts the youngest sibling who lives on the other side of the country. Anyway, sorry for the novel, OP. I hope you let them know how unacceptable that is.

Both your father and aunt are insensitive idiots. Sorry for your loss OP.
That is so insensitive. "Hey look everyone, Grandpa died! #YOLO" I'm sorry for your loss, OP. I truly am.
