Today, I found out my mother cleans the dishes with bathroom cleaning chemicals. She doesn't see anything wrong with this. FML

most of you people are idiots. did you know that when an area is under a boil water advisory, the GOVERNMENT recommends washing dishes then letting them sanitize in a bleach and water bath. no rinsing after! no, you don't want to drink straight bleach in any substantial amount, but you're not going to die if some (or a similar chemical) gets on your dishes while washing, especially not if it's being rinsed anyway!

Aren't you supposed to seek medical attention if you ingest those chemicals? I'm pretty sure you'll be alright considering you aren't dead yet but I'm sure you now have the cleanest digestive track in Canada!
