Today, I borrowed my dad's laptop to type an essay. While I was saving it, I noticed some curious looking files and I opened them. They were rejection letters from all the colleges I had applied to. My dad had been forging them so he wouldn't have to pay for my tuition bills. FML

Today, I was cleaning my father's study room and wondering why I did not receive my acceptance/rejection letter from a college I really wanted. I found the acceptance letter, on his desk, also approving of a full scholarship. The deadline to confirm was a month ago. FML

Today, in a misguided attempt to earn my asshole dad's approval I went to university to get my business degree and took over the family restaurant. Now I have all the stress of managing the restaurant, he has retired and is moving abroad. Oh, and he still isn’t proud of me. FML

Instead, I found my dad's old journals, talking about how desperately he didn't want a kid, and how he wanted to leave my mother more and more every day that passed since I was born. FML

accepted or not, you will receive a letter from the college stating their decision on you. YDI for not questioning the fact that you received NOTHING back. you're probably too dumb for college anyways

I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY!! OMG you are complaining??? I have been trying to get a job in the mortuary and funeral business since I was in HIGH SCHOOL! I am now thirty, clearly it never did and never will happen! I would SO happy if my family ran a mortuary and I got to take it over. If you don't want the job I will gladly step in!!! I am not even kidding!
