Today, I found out that, after having moved over 500 miles to begin a post-graduate degree, I'm being kicked out of the house I'm renting. We haven't yet signed agreements. Apparently I "keep the kitchen too clean". FML

File a report or do something, not sure how things work in the UK, get new roommates. that's some major bullshit.

Eww you're one of those people who wash their hands after using the restroom too I bet. That ***** nasty brah.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, OP. I'd recommend looking at your cohort and seeing if they have anywhere you could stay. In the mean time, find an extended-stay hotel.

agreement or not they cant kick you out for cleaning go to the landlord and tenant board they will resolve it

Maybe it's not too late to turn into a slob and save your house.

i have a strange feeling that's not the real reason why they want to kick you out.

Yep, something else is afoot.

If you're constantly bleaching/disinfecting everything, then I can understand. If not, then just get a motel until you can find somewhere better. Good luck!

Hey, a lot of college kids are slobs. They shouldn't have kicked you out though.

This didn't say anything about OP being a slob. They kept the kitchen "too clean"

If its a place where the concept of a "too clean kittchen" exists, You probably didn't want to stay there anyway OP. Doesn't mean they should be allowed to do this. Good luck with finding a better place!

Want to come clean my kitchen. It can never be too clean.

You're in luck! I know of someone looking for a new roommate, just don't bring any birds!

Cleaner the better...if they don't appreciate your cleanliness tons will...you'll find a place real quick...
